Brandon Yang is a student at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School focused on economics, sustainability, and the intersection between markets, behavior, and social impact. His academic work centers on how economic systems shape long-term outcomes, with particular interest in sustainability, labor markets, and long term economic growth. Brandon has authored analytical papers on sustainability and economic behavior, exploring how policy and market structures can better align growth with long-term social goals. Beyond academics, Brandon is the Founder and CEO of Champion Minds, a 501c3 certified nonprofit dedicated to expanding opportunity and mentorship for students, where he contributes to initiatives focused on leadership, education, and community impact. He has raised over $10,000 for charity, and his work reflects a broader commitment to spreading awareness regarding student athlete mental health. Brandon is also the founder of GolfNoGolf, a developing golf apparel brand that blends sport, identity, and entrepreneurship. Through GolfNoGolf, he applies economic ideas such as branding, consumer behavior, and market positioning into a real business context. A competitive golfer himself, Brandon brings a firsthand understanding of the sport’s culture and economics into his entrepreneurial work.
